Clock - Leonadis, Swiss, military aircraft clock with chronograph and 30-minute register functions, black plastic case with rotating metal bezel of 3 inch diameter, black metal dial, SW-SS, lever escapement, likely 17J, gilt mvt, no visible s#. Currently in need of repair, but a rare military clock that we seldom encounter that is very much deserving of a restoration. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, winding not engaging, crown pulling out completely, one chronograph piece is detached from mvt and loose inside rear, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical scattered surface marks; dial with some scratches with the most notable being left of 3; fine minute hand and seconds-hand, hour hand with upward bend to its tip, sweep-seconds hand and minute register hand are missing and posts for these hands are present; case shows medium wear, threaded back cap over mvt has substantial chipping around its perimeter and is challenging to properly thread on and off; crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
