APW - Elgin, 17J, 16S, 14K gold drum style original HC with beautiful combination of wavy sunburst pattern and vermicelli engraving detail, small sailing scene to rear within frame, gold cuvette, white enamel SS impressed fancy dial with gold foil numeral surrounds and various gold an silver foil details, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#11733120. Gross weight of assembled watch 70.2 dwt (109.1 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking slightly sluggishly, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright plates, some short fine to micro-fine scratches near case screws, some small pots of oxide to click, smaller winding wheel, and few screw heads; visible portion of dial with hl emanating form center hole to 11, some flakes to seconds-register hole; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fine-plus minute with ample finish loss and medium oxide to spade and tip; case shows very little wear, small mild dings to left rear perimeter and lower-right front perimeter, excellent engraving detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows light to medium wear; glass crystal with very few short micro-fine scratches.
