APW - Elgin, Grade 543, 21J, 10S, 14K rose gold OF original Elgin case with stylish Omega-form bow with black enameling at its base, case rear with 1943 presentation engraving, copper tone dial with raised numerals, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, wheel satin nickel finish, s#C374204. Gross weight of assembled watch 31.9 dwt (49.6 g) CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with few fine to micro-fine scratches, steelwork with areas of oxide, mvt with some rattle within case despite tight case screws; dial with scattered small dark surface marks and spots; excellent hands; case shows little wear, numerous dings and shallow denting throughout rear, scattered small dings and nicks to band and bezel, some rear perimeter scratches and small mars from slipped and rough past openings, good engraving detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
