APW - Elgin, 11J, 16S, HC model mvt in coin silver reversible style (cabriolet) original case by North Western Watch Case Co with E.A. Muckle's patent rotating inner ring design that allows for display in either HC or OF style, from cover and snap-on cuvette with floral engraving detail, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, gilt mvt, s#2658369. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, ticking for a few seconds after a twist then stops, overhaul needed, fair cosmetic mvt condition overall, light haze with scattered large dark spots, scattered tiny dark spots of debris, large patches of abrasions to barrel bridge, few long scratches and short fine scratches, scattered small spots of oxide to steelwork; visible portion of dial with two hls emanating from center hole and hl at 8:30, some scattered spots of light surface dirtiness; nearly mint hour hand, excellent minute and seconds, minute with ample oxide to tip; case shows light wear; scattered dents to band and small mild dent to rear with cluster of small nicks, scattered small to tiny nicks to band and few elsewhere, good engraving detail, some scattered thin strips and small spots of dark tarnish; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystal.
