APW - Hamilton, Grade 992B, 21J, 16S, gold-filled OF original Hamilton Model 11 case, "Hamilton Railway Special" marked melamine SS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#C267327. A common watch in truly uncommon condition, highlighted by one of the the finest condition examples of a Model 17 case one will ever find. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few micro-fine scratches; dial with few tiny fine scratches and hairline surface splits in visible portion, some edge rub under bezel; nearly mint hands with some mild surface dirtiness; case shows virtually no wear, few pinpoint nicks to band, rear with vertical brushed finish superb showing no reduction and just typical mild micro-fine contact scratches from handling over its lifetime; tight bow, crown shows virtually no wear; glass crystal with mild fine scratch near center.
