APW - Hamilton, Grade 993, 21J, 16S, gold-filled OF Hamilton recase with signature ring inside rear, conversion style white enamel DS dial with seconds-register at 3 which allows this HC model mvt to orient properly in an OF case with pendant at 12, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, nickel damascene, s#1016924. This watch is highlighted by its scarce and very eye-catching original enamel conversion dial. CONDITION: Mvt: Barely ticking on a full wind, stopping occasionally, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches and small surface nicks, regulator assembly with oxide, some small bits of oxide to winding wheels, balance cock screw is a replacement seated a bit above the plane of the balance wheel; dial with outer chapter hl at 2, small edge flake at 6, few short fine scratches; excellent hands; case shows medium wear, some scattered nicks and fine scratches, no dents, reduced engine turning detail with full loss at rear shoulder; tight bow, crown shows ample wear; good glass crystal.
