Howard & Co, Boston, Series V, 15J, L-S (just over 15S), 14K gold drum style original HC, gold cuvette, case was originally also with a glazed mvt observation cover which is no longer present, white enamel SS dial, umbrella style hands, SW-SS, gilt mvt, s#55384. Gross weight of assembled watch 71.7 dwt (111.6 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, some excess clicking sound and sensation while winding, overhaul recommended, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, uneven cloudy haze to plates with scattered smaller dark spots, some scattered micro-fine scratches, few screw heads with faint finish loss; visible portion of dial with some scattered hls to lower portion; excellent hands with few tiny spots of oxide; case originally had a glazed mvt observation cover which is no longer present, case shows medium wear, mild dent to upper-right band and few scattered dings and mild dents elsewhere to front and rear, reduced engine turning detail with areas of full loss; tight brassy gold-filled replacement bow, crown shows light wear; glass crystal with few scattered tiny nicks.
