APW - Howard Keystone, Series 0, 23J, 16S, gold-filled OF Howard recase with signature ring inside rear and safety bar over crown, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, ruby banking pins, nickel-plated train wheels, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1237395. CONDITION: Mvt: Running after a sluggish start, overhaul needed, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered tiny dark surface spots, few short micro-fine scratches, few tiny spots of oxide to regulator; dial with scattered hls, ample bezel scrape under bezel, some light areas of surface dirtiness to lower portion; excellent seconds-hand, fine-plus hour and minute hands with oxide and finish loss; case shows medium wear, few tiny nicks to band, small spots of wear to brass to high points of rear and bezel reeding, few spots to side of pendant and thin slivers to band, case with additional lever-set slot under bezel at 11; brassy bow pivots semi-freely, crown shows very light wear: glass crystal with micro-fine scratch at 10.
