APW - Illinois, Grade 106, Model 2, 15J, 18S, 9K gold HC recase, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, transitional style SW-LS with retained KW arbor, nickel damascene, s#323609. Materials tested via XRF analysis. Gross weight of assembled watch 80.2 dwt (124.7 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, winds with a louder than normal sound, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with hazy toning, some scattered fine scratches, regulator index with oxide; dial with numerous hls and fractures, some edge flakes or small chips with the largest at 11, seconds-register has evidently been re-secured and is seated out of index with excess white material at its seat; hour hand is missing, fine minute hand and seconds-hand, minute with abrasion to its hub; case shows hardly any wear, few mild dings and abrasions to front, nick to band near 11, excellent engine turning detail; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
