APW - Illinois, Bunn Special, Grade 161A, 21J 60 Hour Elinvar, Type IIP marking, 16S, white gold-filled OF original Bunn Special Model 29 case with initials to rear, Montgomery white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, interrupted ray pattern nickel damascene, s#5576441. Comes as pictured with a 13-inch base metal chain and with an Illinois marked pouch of modern era creation. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, ample tiny nicks and short fine to micro-fine scratches to larger winding wheel hub, some scattered short fine to micro-fine scratches, small spot of oxide to case screw and few tiny spots to regulator; dial nearly flawless in visible portion, some light wispy haze to surface, very few short micro-fine scratches; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fine-plus minute hand with medium oxide and light finish loss; case shows little wear, small mild dent to center rear, small dent with nicks to band at 7:30, scattered small to tiny nicks to band, excellent initial detail; tight bow, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal with few short fine scratches. Chain shows little wear. Estimate: $500 - $700 JH-81883
