APW - Waltham, Riverside Maximus, 23J, 16S, 14K gold original HC with beautiful engraving detail, idyllic scene to rear featuring a home set alongside the bank of an inlet dotted with small sailing ships set in front of a mountain range in the background, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial with distinctive script "Waltham" signature characteristic to this mvt grade, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, diamond endstones on balance and escape wheel, jeweled barrel, ornate nickel damascene, s#10552675. Gross weight of assembled watch 61.5 dwt (95.6 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, small nick to escape bridge, some scattered short micro-fine scratches, scattered small spots of oxide to larger winding wheel and regulator and few elsewhere to steelwork; visible portion of dial with hl emanating from center hole to top of seconds-register, faint ring of mild discoloration around center hole which we have not attempted to clean, short scratch and light hand rub within seconds-register, some fine and scattered micro-fine scratches; excellent hour and minute hand; fine-plus seconds with light finish loss and oxide; case shows very little wear, mild very shallow crease type dent to upper-left front, few tiny mild dings to cuvette, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
