Schumann & Sons of New York, 51mm, 14K rose gold drum style original American-made J&S (Jeannot & Shiebler) HC, gold cuvette with 1892 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, 16J, wolf's tooth winding, nickel damascene, s#2S80481. Gross weight of assembled watch 70.2 dwt (109.1 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Barely ticking on a full wind when dial-up, balance motion more active but with some visible error when dial-down, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, some areas of mild haze; nearly flawless dial with very small flake at center left of hands; excellent hands, some oxide and finish loss to minute tip; case shows light wear, denting throughout rear, dings to front and rear, dent to band at 12:30; tight bow thinned a bit at top, crown shows light wear; crystal is missing.
