EPW - Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London, 53mm, lever fusee with winding indicator, 6K gold HC recase, fixed gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), fully capped lever escapement, 19J, gilt mvt, s#8990. Materials tested via XRF analysis. Gross weight of assembled watch 57.7 dwt (89.7 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches and areas of mild surface haze, evident surface dirtiness; nearly flawless dial with few small fine scratches; excellent hands; case with evident plugged position of its cuvette presumably matching to its original mvt's key position, case shows ample wear, numerous scattered dings throughout, prominent scratch to left-center of rear, substantially reduced engraving detail and majority of engine turning is fully lost; tight bow, push shows ample wear; good glass crystal.
