EPW - Unsigned Continental, quarter-hour repeater, 55mm, silver OF case with fluted band, gilt cuvette, silver engine turned dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), not disassembled to inspect escapement type, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#25010 within case. CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking sluggishly on a full wind and stopping occasionally, hands are currently out of index but otherwise good repeat function at times but occasionally with incomplete quarter-hour strikes, good repeat tone, somewhat challenging to set due to wear to setting arbor, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, some ultra-fine scratch abrasions to hour chapter from past wiping(s), some minor losses of black wax fill to numerals; excellent hands; case shows light wear, an attractive darkened patina, no dents; tight bow; good domed glass crystal.
