EPW - J. Huguenin Droz, Locle, two-train with independent stop/start function only center-seconds chronograph and 1/4-second jump, 51mm, silver original HC with button in band at 12 for stop/start function of center-seconds and 1/4-second jump, signed cuvette, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), possibly 25J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#10078 to cuvette. CONDITION: Mvt: Running but secondary train for independent-seconds not holding winding tension as click has evident failed past repair and is not securing ratchet, if tension is wound and held with key remaining in place watch demonstrates good independent center-seconds and 1/4-second jump stop/start function, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches and small surface nicks; dial with concentric fractures tightly surrounding around approximately half of 1/4-second-register, hl at 7, light hls above seconds-register to center; excellent hands; case shows ample wear, an attractive dark patina, ding to lower rear shoulder, scattered nicks to band, substantially reduced engine turning detail with majority fully lost and remaining portions light; tight bow thinned at top, push shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
