PW mvt only - Illinois, Grade 181, 21J, 16S, HC model mvt, "W. & E. Schmidt, Milwaukee" marked white enamel DS dial, fancy blued Louis XV style hands, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, bright spotted pattern nickel damascene, s#1304930. A very rare top grade movement, the total production of this hunting case version of the Grade 181 was only 150 made. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some toning of plates and few scattered mild surface spots, winding wheel with fine scratches; dial with what looks like some dried glue residue at junctions of its sections indicating the sections have likely been re-secured, dial with outer chapter hls at 9 and 12, edge chip at 9, few small edge flakes elsewhere, small perimeter hl at 10:30, some as-made dark spot finish imperfections at perimeter; excellent hands.
