PW case only - 20K gold-mounted brass bodied OF case with underpainted tortoise shell depicting armorial elements and floral detail, 49mm, outer case only from an original casing, contains a delicate stitched sampler as pictured. Materials tested via XRF analysis. A wonderful brass and tortoise shell case that has high karat gold central elements and surround to interior of bezel, and an item that is seldom found loose with this combination of eye appeal and condition. CONDITION: Case shows very little wear, no dents, tortoise shell fully present though with hl fracture to upper perimeter of rear, hl fracture to lower perimeter of rear, and short fracture to bezel at 12, underpainting is excellent with some mild crazing of painted details, bezel with three small gold piqué elements missing, button latch good.
