APW - Hamilton, Grade 992B, U.S. Ordnance Department watch, 21J, 16S, chrome-plated base metal OF case with contract markings to rear, white enamel SS dial with 13 to 24 hour numerals, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, "U.S. Govt." marked mvt, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#C99117. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, surface rust to portions of regulator assembly, steel area around balance jewel, escape wheel jewel setting screw, and setting lever, aside from these issues mvt surface superb with very few micro-fine scratches; dial nearly flawless though with some surface dirtiness; poor hands with oxide and finish loss; case shows very little wear, fine scratches and mild abrasions to rear, good contract marking detail, circular rear finish remains fully present; tight bow, crown shows little wear; glass crystal with some glue excess at its seat.
