Longines, Swiss, marine chronometer with center-seconds and 36-hour winding indicator, gimbaled brass tub set within a two-tier mahogany box, lid with gilt Longines Chronometer insert, painted metal dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, 21J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, cal. 21.29, s#6425114. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few fine scratches; fine-plus dial with mild radial contact marks around Arabic numerals, a few light surface spots; excellent hands; tub and gimbals show light wear, tub with scattered tarnish and surface spots, a few small oxide patches, gimbals with good function and finish loss throughout; good glass crystal, rear display glass has chip on the underside edge; box shows light wear, scattered fine scratches throughout, chip to lower front section and to the back of lid, good glass.
