APW - Hamilton, Grade 900, 19J, 12S, 14K gold OF original Hamilton clamshell style swingout case with signature ring inside rear, Masonic iconography engraved to rear, white enamel SS dial, Gothic hands, SW-SS, jeweled barrel arbor, fishscale pattern nickel damascene, s#1880333. Gross weight of assembled watch 39.6 dwt (61.5 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, likely broken balance staff, overhaul needed, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, few scattered small spots of a light haze, slightly darker toning to smaller winding wheel bridge, scattered small spots of oxide to winding wheel and few tiny spots to regulator; dial with hls emanating from center hole and cluster of hls at 2:30, some scattered small to tiny edge flakes under bezel; excellent hour hand and seconds-hand, fine-plus minute hand with light finish loss and oxide; case shows medium wear, small mild ding with associated nicks to lower-left rear shoulder, small mild bow indentation to upper rear, good engraving detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows medium wear; good thick glass crystal.
