APW - Hamilton, Grade 994, 21J, 16S, gold-filled OF Hamilton recase, cuvette with signature ring, white enamel DS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, fishscale pattern nickel damascene, s#1153481. A rare and very attractive high grade watch, this pendant-set version of the Grade 994 with a total production of 301 made is significantly rarer than the lever-set version which had a total production of 800 made. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, scattered short fine to micro-fine scratches, small patch of oxide to click screw, light oxide to regulator assembly and some scattered smaller spots elsewhere to steelwork; dial with some scattered short scratches and fine to micro-fine scratches, scattered tiny edge nicks to center section; excellent hands; case shows very light wear, no dents, scattered small to tiny nicks to band and some elsewhere, few small spots of wear to brass to base of pendant; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
