APW - Illinois, Inter-State Chronometer, 23J, 18S, 10 year gold-filled OF recase, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel, two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, gilt mvt screws and regulator assembly, s#2336577. A rare top grade private label, the total production of this 23 jewel 18 size open face Inter State Chronometer is believed to be only 250 made. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, reduced two-tone color, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, case screws and balance cock screw are non-gilt replacements, one barrel bridge screw is a mismatched gilt replacement with flat head; dial with crudely patched small chip to lower-left corner of center section above 7, some scattered hls and fine scratches, small edge chip at 6; fine hands with some oxide; case shows light wear, profuse fine to micro-fine scratches and some abrasions, some pinpoint nicks, no dents; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
