APW - Illinois, Bunn Special, 24J, 18S, gold-filled OF original case with a majestic standing buck to rear, Montgomery white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, capped third wheel, jeweled barrel arbor, bright spotted pattern nickel damascene, s#1877631. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, fine scratch near center, small spot near third wheel jewel setting, regulator assembly with oxide and with fine scratch striations from sanding, balance jewel setting is a replacement and has a mismatched screw with flat head; dial with vertical hl through seconds-register, few pinpoint edge nicks; excellent hands; case shows light wear, some scattered dings and nicks, some small mars around rear/band seam where someone presumably tried opening with a tool, engraving detail with mild reduction, wear to brass to portion at lower edge of band and in small thin strips to portions of rear edge; tight bow, brass crown shows ample wear; glass crystal with glue excess at its seat.
