APW - Waltham, Royal, 17J, 16S, 14K gold original OF original clamshell style swingout case with fancy initials to rear, white enamel DS dial with impressed center, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#17026503. Gross weight of assembled watch 51.1 dwt (79.4 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking slightly sluggishly, crown will unthread from stem if turned in reverse direction, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, cluster of short fine scratches below click, small patch of oxide to larger winding wheel and case screw, scattered small spots to smaller winding wheel; dial nearly flawless in visible portion, faint spots of light orange hand rub within seconds-register; excellent minute hand, fine-plus hour and seconds with light oxide and light finish loss; case shows very light wear, small mild dent with tiny nicks to bezel at 3, small mild crease type ding to band at 9:30, excellent initials detail, inner hinge for mvt swing ring is functional but has some metal loss to hinge tubes; tight bow, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
