APW - Illinois, Bunn Special with scarce damascene, 21J, 18S, nickel OF display recase, white enamel DS Gothic numeral dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, all over gold-inlaid circular pattern gilt and nickel damascene ("Seventh Pattern" per Meggers/Ehrhardt), gilt mvt screws and regulator assembly, s#1989948. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, good two-tone color, some scattered tiny dark spots, very few scattered short fine to micro-fine scratches, light to medium oxide and gilt loss to regulator, scattered light oxide elsewhere to steelwork; dial with some scattered short scratches and fine to micro-fine scratches, some scattered tiny edge nicks under bezel; fine-plus hour hand with light oxide, fair seconds with medium oxide, poor minute with ample oxide; case shows light wear, clusters of small dings to band between 2:30 and 5, deep nick to inner edge of rear bezel at 9, thin strips of brown tarnish and verdigris to band edge between 7 and 9 and some scattered tiny brown spots of tarnish elsewhere; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystals.
