EPW - Johnson, Liverpool, Swiss made dual time zone traveler's watch (this type also often referred to as a "captain's watch") with constant subsidiary seconds and center-seconds, 48mm, 18K gold original OF case, signed gilt cuvette, engraved gilt dial with engine turned details, KWKS, 15J, gilt mvt, s#35922 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 52.7 dwt (81.9 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide visible to steelwork most notably the polished steel barrel cap; gilt dial with even surface tarnish with underlying silver color coming through in several areas; excellent plum blued hands with light oxide most notably to mismatched handset on the left side; case shows very light wear, good engine turning detail; tight rose replacement bow; good glass crystal.
