EPW - William Mould, London, cylinder fusee, 48mm, gilt OF pair cases, outer with tortoise shell piqué, white enamel dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), cylinder escapement, diamond endstone, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled balance cock with floral detail at neck and bird of prey above neck, s#885. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scratches, abrasions, and fine scratches; dial crossed by hl from 9 to near 2, scattered surface nicks, some fading of minute chapter markings; excellent hands; outer case shows ample wear, no dents, rear tortoise shell full present though with a fracture of approximately 16mm length at upper-right, bezel tortoise shell with area of loss at upper-left, some scattered fractures and lesser bits of loss elsewhere, piqué elements present aside from a single loss to rear, virtually no gilt finish remaining to exterior, button latch is securing but with some excess play when closed and majority of button is sheered off; inner case shows ample wear, scattered scratches and nicks, large portions of gilt loss; brassy bow pivots freely; domed glass crystal with some scattered fine scratches and surface nicks.
