PW lot (2) Waltham, 23J, 16S, white enamel DS dials, SW-SS, both run - [1] Bridge model, nickel OF display case with "Waltham Watch Co." signed bezels, s#1000283, mvt fourth wheel is a gilt replacement. The serial number and design of this watch indicate it was produced for purposes of filling Waltham's contract for watches with E. Howard Watch Co. signature, but the lack of Howard signature indicates it was from the portion of production that ultimately was in "excess" and was not marketed under the Howard name. [2] Riverside Maximus, silver and multicolor gold-filled HC, s#10552639.
